In the beginning...

In five days Michelle & Jason will have the opportunity to celebrate their one-month-wedding-iversary! Due to the fact that Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace has just caught fire in their spirits, it will no doubt be a small celebration but a celebration none the less!
The two feel very blessed for the last fantastic month chock-full of wedded bliss. That isn't to say that there hasn't been some hills to hike up though, Michelle's job search for one and Jason's continual struggle with life-after-Afghan. God is good though, and He's providing for us all of our needs and even some of our simple wants :)

If you'd like to come alongside of us in prayer:

Michelle is looking for a job that isn't necessarily full time, and is a job where she feels her work is of purpose, not simply to bring home a pay check. She'd also like to work in a place where God lives and isn't scarce in conversation.
Jason is having a hard time feeling accomplished in his work and seeing its purpose after six months of work that had nothing but immediate relevance to life-altering things. He is also having a hard time handling the pressure of being a new husband, the stress of new financial program which demands disciple, a lack of strong male friendships to fellowship with, and a living a new, healthier/nutritious lifestyle We appreciate all of your prayers and your love.

This month The Delisio's attended a launch team meeting for Revolution Church, being headed up by Josh Burnett in Annapolis, MD. Josh is an old friend of Jason's from the two years he lived in Louisville, Kentucky! Interesting how God always brings things full circle, isn't it? There was uncertainty about their new married ministry, but after this meeting God has ensured them this is where He'd like them to serve. Michelle an Jason couldn't be more excited to get involved in a church who's mission is to share the love and redemptive strength of Christ with the many who do not yet know Him!

"the vision of Revolution. That we want to be the kind of church where faith and action are synonyms. That we want to have the kind of community where life insurance isn’t necessary. That we want to be the kind of church where people regularly experience God and are changed by those experiences." -Josh Burnett, lead pastor
All right friends and family, updates on Revolution Church, as well as the Delisio's beginnings of the married life to continue...
